Karachi, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori attended the 21st annual certificate distribution ceremony at Jinnah University for Women, where he emphasized the critical role of women in society and urged continued support for their education.
According to Sindh Governor House, the ceremony was well-attended by parents, teachers, and university officials, including Chancellor Vijayuddin Ahmed and Vice Chancellor Dr. Prof. Naeemur Rehman. Governor Tesori praised the efforts of the university’s leadership, particularly highlighting the contributions of individuals working to advance women’s education. He stressed the importance of family support in the educational and practical lives of women, noting that parents should continue to treat their daughters with the same respect and encouragement after they enter practical life, utilizing their education for societal betterment.
Governor Tesori also extended an invitation to the students to visit the Governor’s House, reflecting his commitment to engaging with the youth and recognizing their potential to drive positive change in Pakistan. He concluded by underscoring the transformative impact that women could have on the country’s governance and societal structure if given more opportunities to contribute.
