Governor of Sindh Hosts Imam Masjid Nabawi in Islamabad, Discusses Development and IT Education


Islamabad: Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri welcomed Imam Masjid Nabawi, Dr. Salah Al Budair, in a significant event at Sindh House Islamabad, which also saw the participation of Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Malki. On this occasion, Imam Masjid Nabawi offered special prayers for the prosperity of Pakistan at the governor’s request.



According to Sindh Governor House, the governor highlighted the ongoing IT education initiatives under his administration. He revealed that 50,000 youths have completed IT courses at the Governor’s House, with participants earning between 300 to 600 dollars monthly. The governor opened up the Governor House for public access, announced the construction of an IT University in Hyderabad, and emphasized his commitment to public service over politics.



Governor Tesuri also shared details from a press conference about the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, expecting over one million attendees at Governor’s House, with performances by notable artists such as Rahat Fateh Ali, Abida Parveen, and Ali Zafar. He mentioned that the event would also feature a ration drive and distribution of motorcycles and laptops.
