Governor of Sindh Highlights Deep Pakistan-China Ties at Book Launch Event in Karachi

Karachi, In a significant cultural event, Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, attended the book launch of “Pakistan China All Weather Strategic Partner” authored by Dr. Rashid Jamal. The event, held in Karachi, was also graced by the presence of the Consul General of China, Mr. Yang Yundong.

According to Governor Sindh, the book launch was organized by the Pakistan Print and Print Media Foundation. Addressing the gathering, Governor Tessori emphasized the profound depth and height of Pakistan-China friendship, likening it to being deeper than the ocean and higher than the Himalayas. He referenced the recent establishment of the Pak-China Friendship Park in Karachi as a gift to its people from China.

Governor Tessori touched upon the availability of highly capable individuals across various sectors in Pakistan, highlighting the need to utilize these capacities to achieve progress and form a united nation. He pointed out that despite many achievements, becoming good Pakistanis remained a collective challenge.

The governor proposed the creation of a Stability of Pakistan Commission to address the public’s issues, asserting that the people must become their own saviors as no messiah would come to their rescue. He also mentioned that the Army Chief is concurrently combating economic terrorism alongside border threats.

Furthermore, Governor Tessori stated that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project stands as a testament to the strong bilateral ties between the two nations, promising an increase in economic, trade, and business activities upon its completion. He expressed his hope for the project’s swift completion to expedite Pakistan’s development.

Consul General Yang Yundong lauded the Pakistan-China friendship as a proud example to the international community and acclaimed CPEC as a venture that will bring prosperity and progress to Pakistan.

The President of Pakistan Print and Print Media Foundation, Z.H. Khurram, along with Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Manzar Naqvi, and the author Dr. Rashid Jamal, also addressed the attendees, further underscoring the significance of the event and the book’s contributions to understanding the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.
