Governor of Sindh Distributes Aid to Crime Victims and Students in Karachi

Karachi, In a significant community support initiative, Governor Kamran Khan Tesori of Sindh distributed aid checks, mobile phones, and bicycles to over a thousand individuals affected by street crimes during a ceremony held at the Governor House. The event, known as the bell of hope, also saw the distribution of hundreds of laptops to IT students, enhancing educational and economic opportunities for the youth.

According to Sindh Governor House, the distribution event highlighted Governor Tesori’s commitment to using personal resources and support from philanthropists to assist victims of street crimes and students. During the ceremony, a 13-year-old IT student was among those who received a mobile phone, symbolizing the Governor’s focus on empowering the younger generation through technology.

The Governor also announced ongoing support for local children and youth, including providing breakfast to 12,000 children and funding for youth business proposals under the employment scheme named Governor Annie Shetto. He expressed gratitude towards the philanthropists who have supported these initiatives, emphasizing that such efforts are crucial for the economic prosperity of the region’s youth, particularly those studying IT who have the potential to earn in foreign currencies.
