Karachi: In a significant meeting aimed at bolstering Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori discussed strategies to enhance trade and strengthen diplomatic ties with Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam.
According to Sindh Governor House, “Governor Tesori expressed that Pakistan and Iran have maintained stable relations for many decades. The potential for further strengthening these ties lies in increasing trade volumes and frequent exchanges of delegations.” The discussion occurred during Governor Tesori’s visit to the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad, where he was warmly received by Ambassador Moghaddam and other diplomatic staff.
The meeting covered various topics including investment opportunities and the expansion of trade. Ambassador Moghaddam indicated that Iranian investors are keen to substantially invest in diverse sectors within Pakistan, highlighting the mutual benefits of enhanced economic cooperation between the two nations.
