Governor of Sindh Discusses Bilateral Relations and Investment with French Consul General

Karachi, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori met with French Consul General Alexis Chahtahtinsky to discuss enhancing bilateral relations, investment, and trade promotion. The discussions aimed at strengthening ties and fostering economic growth through foreign investment, particularly in the energy sector.

According to Sindh Governor House, the meeting focused on longstanding and increasingly stable Pakistan-France relations, with potential for further collaboration in infrastructure and other sectors. Governor Tesori highlighted the supportive role of foreign capital through initiatives like the Sindh Infrastructure Fund Corporation (SIFC).

The Consul General expressed strong interest from French investors, particularly in energy projects. Following the meeting, the Consul General toured the IT marquee and other welfare projects, commending the Governor’s efforts. Governor Tesori presented a traditional Sindhi cap and a gift to the Consul General, symbolizing the cultural exchange between the two regions.
