Government to provide all possible facilities to pilgrims in Saudi Arabia: Mufti Shakoor 

Islamabad, June 28, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Religious Affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor says the government is committed to provide all possible facilities to the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. In a briefing meeting with Pakistan Hajj Mission Officials in Madinah, he said that reduction in Hajj expenditure is a clear evidence to our efforts. He said that tremendous residential, food and transport facilities are being provided to Hajj Pilgrims through special coordination with Saudi Authorities.

Director General of Hajj Abrar Ahmad Mirza briefed the Minister about efforts of the mission in the Kingdom. Meanwhile, special preparations are underway by Saudi government in Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat to provide maximum facilities to Hajj Pilgrims from all over the world.

These include installation of tents, carpets and beds in tents, as well as temporary construction of washrooms and ablution areas. The Masjid-e-Nimra is also being renovated where the Hajj Khutba will be delivered. Special coolers with air fountains are also being installed to prevent the Hujjaj from heatwave.
