Islamabad, 16 Oct 2023: In a move that promises significant relief to consumers, the government has announced substantial reductions in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel. This decision mirrors the recent shifts in worldwide oil prices and the strengthening of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar.
Per the press release from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MOIB), starting today, the revised price of petrol stands at 283.38 rupees per litre, marking a decrease of 40 rupees. Meanwhile, high-speed diesel will now be priced at 303.18 rupees per litre, reflecting a 15 rupee reduction.
