Islamabad, In a recent statement, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif announced the government’s initiative to establish an economic consensus among all political factions, aiming to set a course for the nation’s economic advancement. This approach reflects a collaborative effort to unify various political perspectives toward common economic goals.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during an interview with a private news channel, Minister Asif elucidated the government’s strategy for economic development, which aligns with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party’s manifesto. This strategy focuses on bridging the developmental gap between the country’s interior regions and its major urban centers, particularly targeting areas within Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
