Government Reduces Petroleum Prices for Next Fortnight

Islamabad: The government announced a reduction in petroleum prices for the upcoming fortnight, according to a notification released recently. The price of petrol has been decreased by two rupees per litre, bringing the new price to 252.63 rupees per litre.

Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has also been reduced by two rupees per litre, making the new price 256.64 rupees per litre.

These new prices take effect starting today, Thursday, providing some relief to consumers amid fluctuating global oil markets.

The announcement was disseminated through Radio Pakistan, reflecting the government’s ongoing adjustments to align domestic fuel prices with international trends.
