Government Reaffirms Commitment to Dialogue, Rejects Parallel Judicial Systems

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the government’s commitment to dialogue with all parties to address societal concerns, concurrently stating a firm stance against any parallel judicial systems by banned organizations. His remarks came during a news conference this evening, particularly in the context of the recent ban on the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM).

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Naqvi addressed the actions taken against PTM, noting that while raising voices for rights is acceptable, instigating hatred and ethnic division is intolerable. He detailed the enforcement measures following PTM’s ban, which include the sealing of offices, closure of bank accounts, and revocation of various personal documents and rights for listed individuals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Furthermore, he asserted that those aiding banned organizations would face similar legal repercussions.
