Islamabad: Reducing inflation and enhancing public welfare are the government’s principal objectives, stated Bilal Azhar Kiyani, Convener of the National Parliamentary Task Force on Sustainable Development Goals, during a press conference today. Kiyani highlighted the government’s successful reduction of inflation to 11.1% and its efforts to boost employment and financial support for needy families through the Benazir Income Support program.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Kiyani detailed the government’s ongoing reform initiatives, including improvements to the Federal Board of Revenue and the electricity transmission system. These steps are part of a broader effort to ensure economic stability and support for the population. The budget for the Benazir Income Support program has been increased to better assist deserving families.
