This initiative aims to enable Pakistani youth to contend on par with their international counterparts.
On International Youth Day, observed on August 12th, the Prime Minister commended Pakistan’s young people as symbols of resolve, bravery, and adaptability. He also acknowledged their crucial role in the nation’s economic progress. The Prime Minister’s remarks were conveyed through a press release from the PM Office Media Wing.
The Prime Minister noted Pakistani youth are earning recognition both nationally and globally, making significant contributions across diverse sectors of the economy. He emphasized the vital part skilled young individuals play in driving economic endeavors, leveraging their intellect and vigor for broader societal benefit.
The federal administration is actively pursuing policies and practical strategies to bolster youth education, skills development, and professional capabilities. The National Artificial Intelligence Policy 2025 is expected to facilitate young people’s application of cutting-edge technology in various fields, aligning with contemporary requirements. The Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Programme (PMYSDP) is already successfully enhancing the skills of numerous young individuals.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agricultural Loan Scheme supports young entrepreneurs and agriculturalists in realizing their potential. Governmental endeavors also encompass technical and IT education, compensated internships, and educational loan programs for students.
The Prime Minister praised the distinctive tradition of young volunteers addressing local issues as a valuable aspect of Pakistan’s social fabric.
