KARACHI: The Federal Minister for National Health Services and Regulations, Syed Mustafa Kamal, emphasized the government’s commitment to eradicating polio from the nation during a media briefing on Sunday. He underscored the importance of collective effort from every societal stakeholder in the fight against the disease.
Kamal announced that a new phase of the anti-polio vaccination campaign is set to commence on the 21st of this month. The Minister highlighted vaccination as the sole effective measure in overcoming polio.
He appealed to parents to ensure their children receive the vaccine, stressing its critical role in eliminating the disease from the country.
