Government Pledges Full Support to Boost Local Auto Parts and Mobile Phone Manufacturing

Islamabad: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has announced the government’s full support for local manufacturing sectors, focusing particularly on auto parts and mobile phones.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during discussions with the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) and representatives of mobile phone manufacturers, Minister Khan emphasized the government’s commitment to nurturing domestic industries. The meeting, held on Tuesday in Islamabad, centered around the challenges currently faced by these sectors, including specific issues brought to the minister’s attention by PAAPAM Chairman Abdul Rehman Aziz.

Jam Kamal Khan assured stakeholders that their concerns would be addressed promptly, in cooperation with the relevant ministries, to bolster ‘Made in Pakistan’ manufacturing and resolve post-budget complications.
