Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar announced that the government is deploying all available assets for relief and rescue endeavors in areas devastated by floods. Federal and provincial institutions, the military, and local officials are collaborating to aid impacted communities and guarantee citizen safety, according to a statement on his social media.

Mr. Dar conveyed profound sadness over the fatalities and devastation resulting from recent torrential downpours and flash floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern regions of the country. He affirmed the administration’s commitment to addressing immediate requirements and formulating plans for long-term rehabilitation of the affected zones.
