Government Mobilizes Resources For Flood Relief Efforts In Pakistan

Islamabad: The Pakistani government is actively deploying resources for relief and rescue operations in areas devastated by floods, according to Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), he said national and regional agencies, the military, and local officials are working diligently to assist impacted communities and guarantee public safety.

Dar conveyed his profound sadness over the loss of life and widespread damage from recent torrential rains and flash floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern Pakistan.

The administration will tackle immediate requirements and develop strategies for the long-term rehabilitation of the affected regions, he added.
