Government Implements Tough Measures to Prevent Default, Says Minister


Islamabad: The government has enacted a series of challenging measures aimed at averting a national default and steering the country towards economic stability, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam announced on Saturday.



According to a statement by Press Information Department, Muqam addressed the oath-taking ceremony of the All Pakistan Government Employees Confederation, where he highlighted the government’s efforts in reducing inflation and adjusting the policy rate. He also noted an increase in remittances as part of the strategy to stabilize the economy.



Muqam assured that the government recognizes the challenges faced by employees and is committed to providing relief. He emphasized that the Prime Minister has formed a committee to engage in constructive dialogue with representatives of protesting employees, reaffirming the commitment to employee welfare.
