Islamabad, September 29, 2021 (PPI-OT):President Dr. Arif Alvi says government has taken steps with the consultations of stakeholders to enhance exports of the country. Addressing 44th export award ceremony by Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Islamabad today, he asked the exporters to strive to promote brand Pakistan with their honesty and reliability.
He also urged the business community to join hands with the government for documentation of economy. The President called for exploring Information Technology sector as it has huge export potential. He said top ten companies in the world are IT based. He said peace in Afghanistan will provide huge opportunities for Pakistani business community. He said it will open ways to Central Asian States.
He said Small and Medium Enterprises needs to be supported for the economic development of the country. Dr. Arif Alvi asked the business community to take steps for inclusion of women and differently abled people in the sector. Later, he distributed prizes among the best exporters in different categories.
