Government Enhances Ramadan Relief Efforts, Announces Federal Minister Tanveer


Islamabad, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has announced that the government is actively implementing measures to alleviate the financial burden on the public during the holy month of Ramadan. This announcement came during his visit to a Utility Store in Lahore, where he highlighted the government’s commitment to public service under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and with the support of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Federal Minister disclosed that the Prime Minister has substantially increased the funding for the Ramadan Package, raising it to twelve point five billion rupees. This move is part of the government’s broader strategy to ensure that essential goods and services are more affordable and accessible to the public during this period of heightened religious observance.



Tanveer emphasized that the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) is dedicated to a politics of action, with a strong focus on enhancing public welfare and facilitating access to basic necessities. This initiative is expected to provide significant relief to families across the country, enabling them to observe Ramadan with greater ease and dignity.
