Islamabad, Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima, stated that the government is dedicated to advancing the IT sector, recognizing technology’s critical role across various industries. During a function in Islamabad, she announced that the Ministry of IT has set a goal to increase IT exports to 25 billion dollars.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Shaza Fatima highlighted initiatives under the Prime Minister’s National Digitalization Plan, which focuses on digitalizing the economy and governance. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to enhance the IT sector’s contribution to the national economy and streamline governmental processes through technology.
