Quetta: Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for the Women Development Department, recently met with the leadership of the Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation (KKRF). The focus of the discussion was on enhancing facilities for women, expanding skills opportunities overseas, and advancing financial literacy programs. A review of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Women’s Development Department and KKRF highlighted the ongoing commitment to these goals.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting underscored the importance of establishing effective communication between institutions that provide services to women and the Department of Women’s Development. This strategic alignment is aimed at ensuring that the women of Balochistan have better access to these essential services. Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi emphasized the critical role of equipping women with necessary skills and financial knowledge for their personal support and social development.
During the discussions, Dr. Bilidi praised the active initiatives and dedication of the Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation towards the welfare of women, particularly commending their efforts for Sikh women. He affirmed the Department of Women’s Development’s full support for social institutions that are working to create programs to empower women in Balochistan, fostering their inclusion in broader societal advancements.
