Islamabad: The government has announced adjustments to the prices of petroleum products, effective immediately, responding to recent shifts in the global market. This revision affects the costs of petrol and high-speed diesel for the upcoming fortnight.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a notification from the Ministry of Finance details the changes: petrol prices have increased by 9.99 rupees per litre, bringing it to 275.60 rupees, and high-speed diesel prices have risen by 6.18 rupees per litre, now costing 283.63 rupees. This adjustment reflects ongoing global price trends and is part of routine price evaluations.
The revised pricing structure is intended to align domestic fuel costs with international market conditions and ensure economic stability within the country.
