This day serves as an annual reaffirmation of the bond and commitment between the people and governments of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir with those in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the observance is characterized by various activities, including rallies, demonstrations, and the formation of human chains, intended to bolster the morale of Kashmiris enduring the challenges of their ongoing struggle for freedom. Pakistani missions worldwide are hosting seminars and photo exhibitions to spotlight the severe human rights abuses and conditions of subjugation faced by Kashmiris under Indian occupation.

The display of banners across Pakistan aims to raise awareness of the Kashmiris’ plight, ensuring their struggles and sacrifices are recognized both nationally and internationally.
