Global Leaders Congratulate Shehbaz Sharif on Becoming Prime Minister of Pakistan


Islamabad, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s assumption of the Prime Minister’s office in Pakistan has been met with a wave of congratulations from world leaders, marking a moment of international acknowledgment and goodwill towards Pakistan’s new government. Among those extending their best wishes were the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, and the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, who underscored the importance of bilateral relations and shared aspirations for progress and prosperity.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, other leaders who conveyed their congratulations included Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who reached out via telephone, and US Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, who expressed his country’s readiness to work closely with Pakistan on mutual interests. The Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas, the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and President of Kenya William Samoei Ruto also sent their good wishes, emphasizing longstanding bonds, the desire for strengthened bilateral partnerships, and development goals.



This collective outreach reflects the international community’s support for Pakistan at a critical juncture and its readiness to engage with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s administration in fostering diplomatic ties, trade, and regional stability.
