Global Kashmiri Community Marks Solidarity Day, Analysts Criticize Indian Policies

Islamabad, On Kashmir Solidarity Day, analysts have vocally criticized the Indian government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), accusing it of oppressing the Muslim population in the region. This day of observance brought together Kashmiris worldwide, uniting them in their call for self-determination and highlighting the alleged human rights violations under the current Indian administration.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in interviews with Pakistan Television News, the analysts condemned the discriminatory policies of the Modi government towards Muslims in IIOJK. They argued that the repressive measures employed by the Indian authorities have failed to dampen the spirit of the Kashmiri people, who continue to strive for their right to self-determination despite the challenges.

The analysts particularly denounced the use of innocent civilians as human shields by Indian troops, calling for an immediate halt to such practices and urging respect for human rights in the region.
