Global Calls for Kashmir and Palestine Liberation Resonate in Barcelona and Paris

Barcelona, Streets in Barcelona became the platform for a powerful demonstration of solidarity as chants of Free Kashmir and Free Palestine filled the air, with the Kashmiri diaspora and their supporters rallying for the annual Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event aimed to draw attention to the similar struggles faced by the people of Kashmir and Palestine for self-determination and liberation from illegal occupations.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the march, led by figures such as Fahim Kayani of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, emphasized the shared aspirations of Kashmiris and Palestinians. Kayani, in his address, underscored the unity against the occupiers, India and Israel, and their allied stance against the resistance movements in the occupied territories.

British MP Yasmin Qureshi also participated, expressing her support for the right to self-determination for Kashmiris in accordance with international law. She pledged to continue advocating for their cause within the British Parliament and called for immediate ceasefires to alleviate the humanitarian crises in Kashmir and Gaza.

Spanish human rights activist Safa Chaudary and others, including Turkish songwriter Turgay Evern and representatives from Pakistan and Spain, voiced their solidarity with the oppressed peoples of Kashmir and Palestine. The collective message from the march was clear: the international community stands with those fighting against occupation and injustice.

Similarly, in Paris, France, the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities united for a protest march organized by the Jammu Kashmir Democratic Forum France. Participants rallied with calls for Free Kashmir, emphasizing the global importance of the Kashmir issue and the collective demand for justice and freedom.

The events in Barcelona and Paris underscore the widespread support for the liberation movements in Kashmir and Palestine, highlighting a global commitment to ending oppression and achieving self-determination for all peoples.
