Dubai: The world’s largest technology exhibition, GITEX Global 2024, kicked off today in Dubai with a significant representation from Pakistan, including 24 leading exhibitors showcasing the nation’s growing capabilities in the IT sector. This five-day event draws attention to Pakistan’s emerging role as a hub for digital innovation.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s participation, expressing pride in Pakistan being named the ‘Tech Destination of the Year 2024’ by GITEX Global. This recognition underscores Pakistan’s increasing prominence as a center for digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
