ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has emphasized the importance of bolstering primary healthcare and neonatal services to improve child health. Speaking at the 28th Paediatric Conference in Islamabad, he highlighted the need for enhanced efforts in maternal and child nutrition, expanded immunization coverage, and stronger prevention and treatment of childhood diseases.
According to Radio Pakistan, Gilani urged collaboration among Parliament, the government, healthcare institutions, and global partners to ensure child health receives the necessary attention and ongoing commitment. He called for collective efforts to address the pressing health needs of children and to sustain initiatives aimed at improving their well-being.
