Abu Dhabi: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, engaged in discussions with top UAE officials during his official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The meetings centered on regional security and enhancing defense collaboration between the two nations.
General Mirza met with Mohammed Fadal Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence, and Lieutenant General Issa Saif Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces. He also held talks with Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of Tawazun Council.
During these meetings, leaders discussed the regional security environment and opportunities for strengthening bilateral defense ties. The UAE officials expressed appreciation for the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in combating terrorism.
General Mirza also toured the Tawazun Industrial Park, where he inspected various manufacturing facilities, highlighting the focus on expanding industrial and defense cooperation. The visit underscores ongoing efforts to bolster defense relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
