Islamabad, September 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):The funeral prayers in absentia were offered for the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, at Faisal Mosque, Islamabad, on Friday. President Dr Arif Alvi, federal ministers, parliamentarians and a large number of people from different walks of life attended the prayers.
National Security Adviser, Dr Moeed Yusuf, Director General of Inter Services Intelligence Lt Gen Faiz Hameed, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain and other high-ranking government officials attended the funeral prayers in absentia. An anti-India demonstration was also held outside the Faisal Mosque. A large number of people including APHC-AJK leaders attended the demonstration.
