Funeral Prayer of Constable Ali Anwar Held with Full Official Honors


Islamabad: The funeral prayer for Constable Ali Anwar of the Islamabad Police was conducted with full official honors at the Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad. The ceremony was attended by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, senior police officials, personnel, and numerous individuals from various sectors.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, a contingent of the Islamabad Police presented a guard of honor to the deceased officer. IGP Rizvi laid a floral wreath, offered Fateha, and prayed for the elevation of Constable Anwar’s soul in the hereafter. In his remarks, IGP Rizvi commended Anwar’s professional services, dedication, and sense of duty while expressing condolences to the bereaved family. He assured them of the police force’s support during this challenging time and pledged that all necessary measures would be taken for the welfare of Anwar’s family.



The IGP further stated that all legal, financial, and welfare-related benefits entitled to the family would be provided and emphasized that they would not be left alone. Special prayers were also offered for Constable Anwar at the conclusion of the funeral ceremony. His remains were subsequently sent to his native town for burial with full official honors.
