Islamabad: Superintendent of Police (SP) Adeel Akbar of the Islamabad Police has passed away, with his funeral prayer taking place at the Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi attended the funeral. Joining them were senior officers and personnel from the Islamabad Police and other law enforcement agencies.

During the ceremony, the Minister of State for Interior and the IGP Islamabad laid floral wreaths. They also offered Fateha for SP Adeel Akbar and extended condolences to his family.

Following the funeral prayers, SP Adeel Akbar’s body was transported to his native town for burial. The transfer was conducted with full official honors.
