Srinagar, The Mughal road, a key connector linking Kashmir Valley’s Shopian district to the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch, was rendered impassable on Sunday following recent snowfall, as reported by local officials.
According to a news release by Kashmir Media Service, the road was obstructed by the snow accumulation along its stretch. This development was verified to the press by Police Post Incharge Behramgla G P Singh.
It’s noteworthy that earlier this month, the same road, which serves as an alternative route to the Jammu-Srinagar Highway, was closed for a span of two days due to snowfall in the vicinity of ‘Pir Ki Gali’.
