Rawalpindi, Security forces, on the night of 19/20 October 2023, executed an intelligence-based operation in the Semu Wanda area of the Lakki Marwat District following reports of terrorist presence. The operation led to an intense exchange of fire between the troops and the terrorists, resulting in the neutralization of four terrorists.
According to a news release by Inter Service Public Relation, One of the terrorists was injured and subsequently apprehended by the security forces. These terrorists had a history of involvement in several hostile activities, including attacks on security forces and the targeted killing of innocent civilians. The operation also led to the recovery of a significant amount of arms, equipment, and explosives. The local community expressed gratitude for the operation and pledged their complete support to the mission of eradicating terrorism from the area.
