Four persons killed in IIOJK road accidents

Jammu, March 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, at least four people died and three others were injured in separate road accidents in the territory. One Head Constable Farooq Ahmed (50) who was hit and injured by a bus at Narsoo area near Nashri tunnel breathed his last at Government Medical College (GMC) in Jammu.

One Bashir Ahmed (74) who was hit by a truck near Imperial Resort Data Tallab, Birpur Jammu, also succumbed at GMC Jammu while another person identified as Darshan Kumar (50) was injured after a motorbike he was riding was hit by a car succumbed at the same hospital in Jammu. A 23-years old Musaib Ahmad Bhat biker was killed and his pillion rider namely Rashib Zahoor Saboon 21, was critically injured after they lost control on the speed of a two-wheeler and rammed into a tree on roadside at Water gam in Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

On the other hand, two persons identified as Rajesh Gupta (52) and his wife Geetu Gupta (41) suffered injuries after the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a tempo at Bari Brahamana in Jammu. Meanwhile, a driver went missing after a truck fell into river Chenab at Mehar in Ramban, on Srinagar- Jammu Highway late Sunday evening.
