Former Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir Leader Discusses Regional Development with Prime Minister


Muzaffarabad, Former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir, Abdul Rasheed Tarabi, accompanied by a delegation, met with Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar Haq of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting focused on the current status of the Kashmir issue, regional construction, development, and other pertinent topics.



According to Press Information Department – Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the meeting included prominent figures such as Syed Nasir Hussain Hamdani, Chairman of the Shah Hamdan International Trust, and other members of the organization. The delegation extended an invitation to the Prime Minister to attend the upcoming International Shah Hamdan Conference, which aims to promote the teachings of Shah Hamdan globally. Tarabi emphasized that the conference would be a significant platform for intellectuals worldwide to discuss various global issues, including the critical juncture reached by the Kashmir dispute.



The Prime Minister expressed commitment to enhancing the region’s infrastructure and improving the quality of life for its residents. He reiterated the administration’s dedication to representing the interests of Occupied Kashmir at an international level and underscored the importance of unity and consensus in addressing the Kashmir issue. The conversation also highlighted the government’s priorities in employment, development, prosperity, and the provision of basic services to the people of Azad Kashmir.
