Forest Fire Triggers Landmine Explosions in Poonch


Jammu, A forest fire in the Balakote and Mendhar areas of Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has continued for the third day, triggering several landmine explosions.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire, which started in a forest along the Line of Control in the mountainous Poonch district, is spreading. The ensuing landmine explosions in the Mendhar area have heightened concerns.



Locals are currently endeavoring to control the blaze. It is important to note that the Indian army has extensively deployed landmines and explosives across the region, often resulting in civilian casualties.
