Srinagar, A forest fire in the Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir triggered several landmine explosions on Friday night. These mines had been planted by Indian troops in the region.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire started on Friday evening in the Balnoi and Krishnagati areas of Poonch district. The blaze led to the detonation of multiple landmines in these areas. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties from these explosions.
The press release also noted that the Indian army has extensively deployed landmines and other explosives throughout the border areas of the occupied territory. These explosives often pose a risk to civilian life in the region, as evidenced by past incidents.
