Foreign Secretary of Pakistan Accuses India of Extra-Judicial Killings in Pakistan

Karachi, The Foreign Secretary of Pakistan today presented detailed allegations against India, accusing it of orchestrating a series of extra-territorial and extra-judicial killings in Pakistan. These claims, based on purported evidence, involve sophisticated international operations targeting Pakistani nationals.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Secretary detailed how Indian agents, operating from third countries, used technology and foreign safe havens to execute assassinations on Pakistani soil. They allegedly recruited, financed, and supported criminals, terrorists, and civilians for these operations. Indian media and social media platforms reportedly claimed and glorified these killings as successful acts of retribution against enemies of India.

The first case presented was the assassination of Shahid Latif in Sialkot on October 11, 2023. The investigation revealed that Indian agent Yogesh Kumar orchestrated the killing. Muhammad Umair, a laborer in a third country, was recruited by Kumar to coordinate with local criminals in Pakistan. Despite initial failures, Umair and a team of hired killers successfully executed the assassination.

The second case involved the killing of Muhammad Riaz in Rawalakot on September 8, 2023. Indian agents Ashok Kumar Anand and Yogesh Kumar allegedly recruited Muhammad Abdullah Ali via the Telegram app for this operation. Ali, who received payments and weapons from the agents, successfully carried out the assassination after an initial failed attempt.

The Foreign Secretary emphasized the sophisticated nature of these operations, linking them to a broader pattern of Indian-sponsored terrorist acts within Pakistan. He highlighted the similarity of these cases to others reported in countries like Canada and the United States, suggesting a global network of Indian extrajudicial activities.

These allegations, if proven, represent a significant violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and international law. The Foreign Secretary called for international accountability for India’s actions and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to protecting its citizens and sovereignty. He questioned India’s reliability as a credible international player, given these alleged activities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released passport details of the accused Indian agents and stated that Pakistan has reached out to relevant third countries for cooperation. The Foreign Secretary concluded by stressing the need for justice for the victims and their families and holding the perpetrators accountable.
