Food Minister Praises Security and Quality Control Efforts During Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebrations in Lahore

Lahore: Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yasin commended the local administration and police force for their exemplary efforts in managing the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, highlighting the peaceful conclusion of all events and robust security measures.

According to Punjab Food Department, Minister Yasin expressed satisfaction with the work of the Lahore district administration and the police during the religious festivities. He noted the effective implementation of security strategies devised under the guidance of the Chief Minister of Punjab, which were carried out by the Commissioner of Lahore Division, District Commissioners, DIG Operations Lahore, and other District Police Officers.

The celebration saw the deployment of over 8,000 police personnel along with civil defense officials who diligently performed their duties to ensure the safety and security of the participants. In addition to security measures, the Punjab Food Authority’s dairy safety teams were active on the ground, inspecting 668,800 liters of milk. The teams successfully identified and confiscated 1,000 liters of substandard and adulterated milk.

Minister Yasin also extended his gratitude to the Ittehad-e-Ummat Committee members for their support and cooperation with the district administration across various areas, contributing significantly to the maintenance of peace and order during the event.

The collaborative efforts of all stakeholders involved in the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations were acknowledged as key to the successful and peaceful conduct of the event in Lahore.
