New York, September 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): Pakistan’s Caretaker Foreign Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani, has stressed the need of resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute by implementing the United Nations Security Council’s resolutions as this issue directly affects the regional peace and security.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Foreign Minister in an interview in New York termed the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir as a prison, where the rights of people have been usurped by India.

Jalil Abbas Jilani while highlighting the illegal actions of India said most of the political leaders of Kashmir have been under the detention especially after August 05, 2019.

He rejected Indian assertions that Kashmir is an integral part of India, saying that New Delhi deployed approximately seven hundred thousand troops in an area that it claims as its own.
