FLSmidth Launches Training Program to Boost Sustainable Mining in Pakistan

Islamabad: A delegation from FLSmidth, a Danish company specializing in sustainable technology for the mining and cement sectors, met with Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister, Ali Pervaiz, to discuss initiatives aligned with the nation’s vision for responsible mining. The meeting coincided with the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum, where the delegation announced a new training program for 100 Pakistani engineers in minerals and mining.

Minister Pervaiz expressed appreciation for FLSmidth’s dedication to sustainable development and affirmed the government’s readiness to embrace innovative technologies. He underscored the Prime Minister’s focus on the development of Balochistan through skill enhancement and increased employability.

FLSmidth’s representatives congratulated Minister Pervaiz on the successful forum and voiced their eagerness to support Pakistan’s sustainable economic growth. The training initiative is part of FLSmidth’s effort to develop a skilled workforce capable of handling advanced mining technologies.
