Lahore: Severe flooding in Punjab’s rivers has prompted Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, the Chairman of Pakistan’s Senate, to issue a public appeal for urgent relief support. With water levels rising alarmingly in the Chenab, Ravi, and Sutlej rivers, Gilani has called on philanthropists and welfare organizations to provide immediate aid to affected families.

The floodwaters are advancing towards South Punjab, posing a threat to thousands of households and livelihoods in the region.
