Five Omicron cases detected in Kashmir Valley 

Srinagar, January 11, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, five cases of Omicron have been detected in the Kashmir Valley. A top health official told the media that the first case of Omicron was detected in the Valley on Monday while four more were detected today. He said the five detected cases include three non-local travellers whose samples were taken in Islamabad district and they have already returned back.

An official said that a person from Shopian and a pregnant woman from Uri area of Baramulla were detected positive for Omicron. However, both are stable and have recovered as well. It is pertinent to mention here that earlier three cases of Omicron were detected in Jammu who had already recovered.
