Lahore: Five instructors within the Commerce Stream of the Higher Education Department in Punjab have been promoted to the rank of Senior Instructors, following the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC). The promotions, effective on a regular basis, come after a DPC meeting held on July 25, 2024.

The instructors, previously occupying the Basic Scale-17 (BS-17) position, will now transition to Basic Scale-18 (BS-18) roles. This advancement marks a significant step in their professional growth within the educational sector.

The decision aligns with the Higher Education Department’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding the contributions of its staff members, ensuring that qualified and experienced personnel are placed in positions that reflect their expertise.

The announcement was made by the Higher Education Department of the Government of Punjab, highlighting the importance of structured career progression for educators in the province.
