Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb Optimistic About National Economic Stability and Climate Initiatives


Islamabad: At the “Climate Action for Pakistan” event organized by Acumen Pakistan today, Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized the national economy’s trajectory towards stability, underpinned by substantial reforms and a strategic focus on climate change challenges. The minister highlighted the pivotal role of the private sector in driving climate financing and its potential leadership in environmental sustainability efforts.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Aurangzeb detailed the government’s ongoing reforms aimed at fostering sustainable economic growth. These include expanding the tax system, enhancing transparency, and implementing crucial energy sector reforms, all of which are integral to ensuring economic stability.



The Finance Minister also underscored the global nature of climate change, noting its widespread impact and the urgent need for effective projects to mitigate its effects. He reassured attendees that the government is taking necessary measures to address these challenges comprehensively, positioning Pakistan on a path to both economic resilience and environmental responsibility.
