Finance Minister Discusses Economic Stability with PARCO Executive

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Mehmet Celepoglu, Executive Vice President Oceania and South Asia of PARCO, to discuss various aspects of Pakistan’s economic framework and its impact on the business sector.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Celepoglu praised Pakistan’s macroeconomic performance and acknowledged the government’s proactive measures that have positively impacted the industry, including facilitating sales tax refunds and improving documentation processes.

Minister Aurangzeb expressed appreciation for PARCO’s business initiatives in Pakistan and highlighted the role of ongoing support from multilateral institutions and the IMF in stabilizing the country’s economic landscape. The meeting also addressed efforts to enhance Pakistan’s tax-to-GDP ratio and fiscal discipline, underlining the government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and encouraging investment.
