Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has recognized the significant contributions of rice exporters to Pakistan’s economy, following a meeting with representatives from the Rice Exporters Associations of Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Finance Minister praised the sector’s role in achieving a record export volume of $8 billion, underscoring agriculture’s critical role in national economic growth. Aurangzeb reaffirmed the government’s support for the sector and emphasized the need for enhanced rice yields through improved quality and value addition to further bolster Pakistan’s position in the global market.
