Finance Minister Chairs 4th Meeting of Pakistan Single Window Governing Council

Islamabad: The fourth meeting of the Governing Council of Pakistan Single Window (PSW) was chaired by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, focusing on enhancing the implementation and security of the trade facilitation system.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting was attended by key figures including the Secretary Commerce, Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and the CEO of PSW, along with senior officers from various ministries. The CEO of PSW presented an extensive report on the progress of the PSW system’s implementation, highlighting the achievements, ongoing projects, performance metrics, and challenges. The Secretary to the Governing Council provided updates on the status of decisions made during the previous meeting.

Acknowledging the strategic importance of the PSW program, Minister Aurangzeb directed the team to expedite the implementation process, ensure broad stakeholder engagement, and prioritize system security. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting reforms that facilitate trade and enhance business operations across Pakistan.
